Ever wonder what is this “figgy pudding” that they sing about in “We wish you a Merry Christmas?” Well, I did and about four years ago I decided to give it a try. I found there to be many different variations of this Christmas dessert, this is the one that I’ve created, and my family asks me to make every year. After some research, I found that almost everyone that I've asked have never had it but know the reference to it in the song.

I decided to bring this holiday treat to the masses. I created a shelf stable kit that can be made at home for a fun activity for anyone. My kit in includes 9 oz glass jar mixture of figs/dates and spices, a 9 oz jar of a caramel sauce, pouch of dry ingredients and 8 Kraft paper baking cups. You will only need to provide an egg, oil and whipped cream to create this delicious, sweet dessert.
